Going back several centuries, Ubtan was and still is, regarded as one of the most sacred ayurvedic cosmetics that has healing properties. Lastly, Kapha facial ubtans are beneficial when used with a warm liquid that helps stimulate the natural flow of body fluids.
A herbal paste, Ubtan is made using milk or milk powder, gram flour (besan), almond powder, turmeric (haldi), milk cream, lemon juice, and rose water. Essentially, all the ingredients that can be found easily at home, and don’t require you to spend a fortune on.
